Many families need a maximum volume control / volume limiter for many reasons, usually to keep the kids from blasting you out, or disturbing the neighbours. The same control is often needed for elderly relatives with failing hearing who keep blasting out the neighbours without realising it.

Hotel Mode gives this facility, but it is treated as a black art under the control of selected TV engineers only - in fact most TV companies deny that it exists - who are they kidding?

So why not include a maximum volume control under the 'Parental Control' section of the menu system, and please tens of thousands of customers? If LG was the first they would corner the market!

It would be quite cheap to do, just a minor change to the firmware.
