With a (wireless) internet connection on the TV, and a webportal accessable with a computer, you can build your own 'startpage' like symbaloo or igoogle. You create your own fiield of interest, and in combination witch EPG it is possible to select your interest in news, and the TV selects transmitting newschannels on that moment. Also RSS-feeds, personalized pictures and icons, localized weatherforecasts etc. All is costumisable and content can be changed with the internetportal (myportal.lg.com?).
